The process for building a home has steps that, with minor exceptions, come in a predictable sequence.  Understanding this sequence can help you have realistic expectations on the timing of your new home’s completion (plus, it’s fun to know while you’re watching your new home come to life!).

  2. Grading – excavate for basement, grade crawl space to positive drain or prepare pad for slab

  10. Plumbing rough-in
  11. Brick/siding
  12. Electrical rough-in
  13. HVAC rough-in

  15. Inspection
